Noticeboard

Peacock Surgery is continuing to experience high levels of sickness and staff absence. We are working hard to try to maintain services. We respectfully ask for your understanding at this difficult time.

FACE COVERINGS/MASKS: If you have an appointment with us or need to attend Peacock Surgery,  we ask that you understand it is important that you wear a face covering at all times too, when in the surgery, despite this ruling now being relaxed. This is for your safety and the safety of other patients and colleagues in the surgery.

Our team will continue to wear face masks and other PPE as required, to protect our patients and our colleagues and prevent possible infections.

Test Results

When you attend for a test of any kind you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results. Please bear this in mind and call the surgery after 12.00 once sufficient time has elapsed.

Our reception staff are not qualified to comment on results therefore it is your responsibility to check them and make any necessary follow-up appointment with the doctor.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.

Please be aware that we will not routinely telephone patients when results are 'normal' or there is nothing to report.
