Peacock Surgery is continuing to experience high levels of sickness and staff absence. We are working hard to try to maintain services. We respectfully ask for your understanding at this difficult time.

FACE COVERINGS/MASKS: If you have an appointment with us or need to attend Peacock Surgery,  we ask that you understand it is important that you wear a face covering at all times too, when in the surgery, despite this ruling now being relaxed. This is for your safety and the safety of other patients and colleagues in the surgery.

Our team will continue to wear face masks and other PPE as required, to protect our patients and our colleagues and prevent possible infections.

We are receiving increasing requests for information regarding our patients from family members, husbands, wives, partners, children about personal clinical information eg results, when their appointments are or coming in and asking for letters which may have been prepared.

Please remember that we keep our patients data confidential.  Unless we have express written consent from our patient naming individuals we cannot and will not divulge any information to anyone.  Whilst your loved ones may think that our reception team are being difficult, this really is not the case.  We are protecting your information.

If you need to complete a consent form you can download it here. Please complete it, sign it and return it to the surgery.  This will help us to communicate important information but with your consent.

We also ask that if you have "Power of Attorney" for a loved one we do need a copy of this.  Without this we cannot disclose any health information to you about your loved one.
