This is a brief note to update our patients on the availability of parking at Peacock Healthcare.

Unfortunately we are unable to provide dedicated parking spaces for our patients at present, we are as part of our longer term planning, looking at options for parking as our services continue to grow & develop and we will be seeking to engage with the local authority and sponsors to actively put forward a proposal to acquire the "Car-wash" next to the surgery and convert into a car parking facility for our patients. This will require significant funding support and is very much a long term strategy however we would welcome any support/ideas from our patients on how we might expedite the process.

In the interim; parking will be limited as per current parking restrictions in the locality and is the responsibility of the patient to note the parking restrictions. There are also two local authority car parks at the top of Carlton Hill; on Frederick Avenue & Standhill Road, both have an initial 2 hours free parking though it is important you still ensure you place a parking ticket in your car or you may receive a fine.

It is also important that patients do not park in any of the spaces on the car- wash facility as it is private land and your vehicle may be clamped, there will be a removal fee and will be the responsibility of the patient should that occur.

We would also request that patients do not park in the parking spaces directly to the left of the main entrance; this is also private land and all the spaces in that area are allocated to the Midlands Academy of Dance & Drama (MADD) who occupies the building at the rear of our premises. All the parking spaces in this area are clearly marked and have the "MADD" logo written on the parking space itself and are for the use of the students & their staff.

Thank you in advance for your patience in this matter, we will update as we make progress with this particular project.
